CompuCell3D allows to perform multicellular simulations. However, one question was always how to create initialization files for it. These can be provided in form of PIF (Potts Initialization Files), as can be obtained by saving directly from CompuCell3D. But what if you want to start with different initial conditions? Editing those text files by hand is certainly an option, but that is tedious. Thus, PifDesigner tries to help in this task.

This program has been created using the .NET programming language, thus the executable works on all platforms (though there seems to be a bug with Mono right now, and ellipses don’t tesselate correctly!).
